The usual suspects I sweep out: utm_source, utm_campaign, fbclid, gclid, the mc_ and _hs trackers. None of them are part of the address — they're riders bolted on to watch where a link travels. A URL should point at a thing, not report on you. I just take the riders off. 🧼
